I used to have a description about how I'm afflicted with loving adventurous activities (bikes, climbing, horses, etc.). But, to tell you the truth, I love activities that require me to devote 100% of my attention to what I'm doing, occur outdoors, require some physicality, and provide a little adrenaline/dopamine rush. And, then there are the usual reasons..."I love the freedom, the wind in my face, etc." I get all that riding my motorcycle. Bikes also run in the family. My Dad rode for years. The hubby has been riding forever too. Anyway, I'm an addict and this blog chronicles my addiction.


My current love: I'm currently riding a Harley-Davidson Sportster Iron 883. She's super awesome. I had short-shot staggered pipes (wrapped), a stage-1 kit, a different seat and handlebar, a tachometer, and engine guards installed. I have more performance modifications planned for her. I can't say enough about this bike. :)

My first bike: As a new rider, I piloted a 2008 500cc Buell Blast (Buell is Harley-Davidson's sport bike division). The most significant modification, so good that I fell on the floor and thanked the good engineers at Vance & Hines every time I rode my bike, a full system SS2-R pipe from Vance & Hines. It was like night and day. But, I also replaced the air filter with a K&N air filter, re-jetted the carb, and installed a custom tachometer. My Buell Blast was snappy. Oh, the Mickey Mouse mirrors were replaced by nicer lower profile mirrors.
