Yesterday, I took the Buell Blast in to a not so local H-D (I don't like our local dealer, so my husband and I ride 1 hour south of our home for ALL of our H-D needs) for some work. The main modification to my bike - a Vance & Hines full system SS2-R pipe. OMG... I almost fell off of my bike screaming with joy as I rode out of the parking lot (& I really did scream with joy and wore a bug-eating grin all of the way home). I can't believe HOW MUCH my bike has changed (w/ some tweaking to the carburetor too). My Buell Blast roars down the road, she is smoother, and has more power. People actually turn their head now to see what bike makes the loud but very unique classic Buell thumper noise. I have to say that I now lololo love my bike. Anyone who has a stock pipe on their Buell Blast needs to do this modification at once. Doctor's orders! My husband, who rode sport bikes and sportsters for years and years, tore off around our neighborhood pushing the bike to the red zone and came home smiling. He got off looked at the bike (w/ big grin), looked at me, and stated, "you have all the power you need, you need to learn to ride this bike (to actually use the power it has), and now I know why it is called Blast."
